»💡« ist eine Installation mit Schrift, Lampen und Licht.
Das Licht von Lampen ist an vielen Orten eine unbeachtete Voraussetzung um Kunst zu konsumieren. In der bildenden Kunst ist Licht eine Notwendige Bedienung – sowohl bei der Produktion wie auch bei der Rezeption. Der Text auf den Lampen beleuchtet was Kunst sein kann und was die Vorraussetzungen für Kunst sind. Diese Verbindung von Voraussetzung un Möglichkeit ist der Schlüsselpunkt der Arbeit.
Oft zeigt sich, dass das Versprechen der Kunst gleichzeitig auch seine Bedienung ist.
»💡« reflects on the requirements and possibilities for art. It´s an installation with text on lamps. Light is always required to make and exhibit art, in particular when it comes to photography. The light produced by the lamps is necessary to see the art work. The text itself highlights what art can be and what other (social and political) preconditions of art are. For example der Protest und der Widerstand (protest and resistance): Art can be seen as a rebellious act, but it also needs the possibility and freedom to be rebellious. This connection between the requirement and the possibility is the keypoint of this work.
